Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screen individual clones for optimal performance.

Target Information
Delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4), also known as Delta-4, is a transmembrane ligand for the Notch1 receptor. It is expressed in vascular tissues and plays a critical role in vascular development. DLL4 is induced by VEGF and acts as a negative feedback regulator of angiogenesis, promoting the formation of a mature vascular network.
DLL4 is strongly expressed in tumor vessels of clear-cell renal and bladder cancers. Inhibition of DLL4 leads to increased vascular proliferation but poor maturation, resulting in reduced tumor growth without apparent toxicity.
