Product Specific Information
Description:
The MIH1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human B7-H1 (PD-L1), a member of the B7 family with a molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa. PD-L1 is expressed on most leukocytes and serves as a ligand for PD-1. Interaction of PD-1 with PD-L1 or PD-L2 inhibits T and B cell responses. MIH1 is reported to be a blocking antibody.
Applications Reported:
MIH1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometry on stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Fluorochrome Information:
Alexa Fluor 700 emits at 723 nm and is excited by the red laser (633–647 nm). Recommended optical setup: 685 LP mirror and 710/20 bandpass filter.

Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds PD-1, negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 ligation reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in murine and human cancers and upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
