Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated intracellularly by signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 different PKC polypeptides have been identified, differing in structure, localization, and substrate specificity.
PKC family members phosphorylate diverse protein targets and are involved in various cellular signaling pathways. They also serve as receptors for phorbol esters, known tumor promoters. Each PKC isoform exhibits distinct expression and functional roles within cells.
