Norgen의 2019-nCoV TaqMan RT-PCR Kit Dx는 CDC에서 개발한 분석법과 프로토콜을 기반으로 SARS-CoV-2 RNA를 검출합니다. RT-PCR 증폭과 TaqMan 프로브 검출 방식을 사용하며, 세 가지 타깃(N1, N2, RNase P)을 각각의 튜브에서 검출합니다. 각 프로브는 FAM 형광표지로 라벨링되어 있습니다.
양성 대조군은 두 개의 nCoV 핵단백 유전자 타깃(N1, N2)과 RNase P를 포함하며, PCR 억제 모니터링 및 샘플 품질 검증에 사용됩니다. 본 키트는 타깃 검출용 마스터믹스, 3종 프라이머/프로브 믹스, 양성 및 음성 대조군을 포함합니다.

Background Information
2019년 12월 중국 우한에서 시작된 호흡기 질환은 새로운 코로나바이러스(SARS-CoV-2)에 의해 발생했으며, WHO는 이 질병을 COVID-19로 명명했습니다. SARS-CoV-2는 이전에 인간에게서 발견되지 않았던 베타코로나바이러스 계열의 신종 바이러스입니다. 감염 경로는 동물-사람 간 전파에서 시작하여 이후 사람 간 전파로 확산되었습니다.
