Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat immunoglobulins. Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility, allowing the use of various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also increase sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified for high specificity.
