Product Specific Information
- Each lot’s sensitivity is confirmed by ELISA, and specificity by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
- Rehydrate with 1.1 mL deionized water; stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve.
- Centrifuge to remove particulates and prepare fresh working dilutions daily.
- Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C.
- For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
- Based on IEP, no reactivity observed to non-immunoglobulin bovine serum components.
Target Information
Anti-Bovine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-defined specificity for bovine immunoglobulins. They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of bovine IgG. Secondary antibodies enhance assay flexibility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification. These reagents are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled target immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation).
