Product Specific Information

The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6 (signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family member 6).
Mouse Ly108, also known as NTB-A, is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement of the Ly108 receptor enhances NK cell activity and IFN-γ expression and contributes to the inability of NK cells to kill Epstein-Barr virus-infected B cells in X-linked lymphoproliferative disease.
CD4⁺ T cells from Ly108 knockout mice exhibit diminished IL-4 production and defective neutrophil functions.
No strain differences were observed between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice. Other strains not tested.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometry using mouse splenocytes and thymocytes.
Recommended ≤ 0.125 µg/test (defined as staining 100 µL of cell sample).
Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Careful titration recommended for optimal performance.
