Target Information
Legumain은 아스파라진 결합의 가수분해에 엄격한 특이성을 가진 시스테인 프로테아제입니다. 이 효소는 MHC class II 제시를 위한 박테리아 펩타이드 및 내인성 단백질의 처리에 관여할 수 있습니다. 산성 pH에서 활성화되며 자가촉매적으로 활성화됩니다. 단핵구가 수지상세포로 분화할 때 발현되며, 성숙한 수지상세포에서 lipopolysaccharide 자극 후 완전히 활성화된 효소가 생성됩니다. 이 유전자의 과발현은 대부분의 고형 종양 유형과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. 염색체 13에 위유전자가 존재하며, 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되었지만 생물학적으로 유효한 것은 두 가지로 확인되었습니다.
