Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

ACCN3 (ASIC3) encodes a member of the degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (DEG/ENaC) superfamily.
These are amiloride-sensitive sodium channels containing intracellular N and C termini, two hydrophobic transmembrane regions, and a large extracellular loop rich in cysteine residues with conserved spacing.
ASIC3 functions as an acid sensor involved in detecting prolonged pH changes.
It can form heteromeric proton-gated channels with ACCN1 that are sensitive to gadolinium.
