Target Information
소포체 수송의 특이성은 synaptobrevin/VAMP와 syntaxin 간의 상호작용에 의해 부분적으로 조절됩니다. 이 단백질들은 SNAP25와 함께 일반적인 막 융합 기구의 결합 부위를 형성합니다.
SNAP25는 주로 뇌에서 발현되지만, SNAP23은 다른 조직에서 소포막 융합을 촉진하는 유사 단백질로 작용합니다.
SNAP23은 syntaxin과 synaptobrevin/VAMPs에 강하게 결합하며, 수송 소포 도킹 및 융합의 중요한 조절 인자입니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 다른 단백질 아이소폼을 암호화하는 전사 변이체를 가집니다.
