Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the TRIM protein family and contains multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif. It may form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding and act as a transcriptional regulatory factor related to carcinogenesis and/or differentiation. It may also function in the suppression of radiosensitivity, as it is associated with the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
