Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the TRIM protein family. It contains multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif, and may form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding. It likely acts as a transcriptional regulatory factor associated with carcinogenesis and differentiation. Additionally, it may play a role in suppressing radiosensitivity, as it is linked to the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
