Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and mediates crosstalk between adiponectin and insulin signaling pathways. It binds to multiple proteins including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and components of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex. The protein associates with endosomal membranes but can be released by EGF and translocated to the nucleus.
