Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
BUBR1 is a Ser/Thr protein kinase involved in the mitotic checkpoint that delays anaphase until chromosomes are properly attached to the spindle. Defects in this checkpoint can lead to genetic instability and malignant transformation.
Human cells express two related kinases, hBUBR1 and hBUB1, both monitoring kinetochore-microtubule interactions.
BUBR1 prevents premature anaphase entry and has been detected in various cancers. It binds BCSG1, a breast cancer-associated protein, potentially promoting tumor progression by compromising checkpoint control.
