Target Information
ADORA2A is a protein that serves as one of several receptor subtypes for adenosine. The activity of this G-protein coupled receptor is mediated by G proteins that activate adenylyl cyclase. It is abundant in basal ganglia, vasculature, and platelets, and is a major target of caffeine.
