Tenascin은 고분자량의 다기능성 세포외 기질 당단백질로, 발생 과정에서 중배엽-상피 상호작용과 관련되어 발현되며, 미분화 종양의 신생혈관 및 기질에서도 관찰됩니다 (Erickson and Bourdon 1989).
