Talin은 세포-기질 부착 부위의 다기능 구성요소로, 다양한 조직과 세포 유형에서 발견되는 고분자량 단백질(225–235 kDa)입니다. Talin은 필라멘트성 액틴이 존재하는 접합 복합체의 세포질면에 위치하며, 세포 부착반점(adhesion plaques)과 섬유 모양의 구조물에 주로 분포합니다. 또한 Talin은 vinculin 및 integrin과 상호작용하여 세포 부착 및 신호전달에 관여합니다.
