For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MEPCE is an S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that adds a methylphosphate cap at the 5′-end of 7SK snRNA, stabilizing it. It also functions non-enzymatically as part of the 7SK RNP complex, which regulates transcription elongation by sequestering P-TEFb and promoting snRNA gene transcription through interaction with the little elongation complex (LEC). Within the 7SK RNP complex, MEPCE stabilizes 7SK RNA and facilitates complex assembly. Interaction with LARP7 occludes its catalytic center, supporting its structural role. [UniProt]
