Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
HYOU1 belongs to the heat shock protein 70 family and plays an important role in protein folding and secretion in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Suppression of this protein is associated with accelerated apoptosis, suggesting a cytoprotective role under hypoxic conditions. HYOU1 is upregulated in tumors, particularly in breast cancer, and is linked to tumor invasiveness. This protein, lacking a signal peptide and only three amino acids shorter than the mature ER protein, may also have a housekeeping function in the cytosol. In rat, it localizes to both the ER and mitochondria through distinct targeting sequences.
