Target Information
The product of this gene belongs to a small family of adapter proteins that interact with receptor tyrosine kinases and signaling molecules. GRB7 encodes a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with EGFR and ephrin receptors. It plays a role in integrin signaling and cell migration through binding with focal adhesion kinase (FAK). Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants, with two full-length isoforms identified to date.
