Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The MAK gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase related to kinases involved in cell cycle regulation.
It is expressed almost exclusively in the testis, primarily in germ cells.
Mouse and rat homologs localize the kinase to chromosomes during meiosis in spermatogenesis, specifically to the synaptonemal complex.
Additionally, high expression levels have been observed in developing sensory epithelia, suggesting a broader functional role.
