Target Information
NEDD4는 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase로, Ubl 결합 경로 단백질입니다. 하나의 HECT(E6AP-type E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase) 도메인과 네 개의 WW 도메인을 포함합니다.
VEGFR-2/KDFR의 분해 경로에 관여하며, ubiquitin-ligase 활성과는 독립적으로 작용합니다.
PTEN을 ubiquitination을 통해 음성 조절하는 잠재적 원암유전자로 알려져 있으며, 이는 Mdm2와 p53 관계와 유사한 패러다임을 가집니다.
다양한 바이러스의 budding 과정에 관여하고, 상피 Na⁺ 채널의 조절자로 작용하여 동맥성 고혈압을 유발할 수 있습니다.
NEDD4 단백질은 근섬유의 sarcolemmal 영역에 위치하며, 그 발현 증가 시 근육의 비하중 상태 및 신경절단 상태에서 Notch1 발현 감소가 나타납니다.
따라서 Notch-1 유전자 발현의 음성 조절자로 작용합니다.
