Target Information
NEDD4 family-interacting protein 1 (NDFIP1) is a transmembrane Golgi membrane protein involved in ubiquitination by the Nedd4 family. It is strongly expressed in surviving neurons after cortical brain injury and may contribute to neuronal survival. NDFIP1 and NDFIP2 interact with components of the EGF and PTEN/Akt signaling pathways and may regulate Th17 differentiation by limiting proinflammatory cytokine production.
