Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Spermatogenesis is regulated by extracellular and intracellular factors and interactions among interstitial cells, Sertoli cells, and germ cells. The PHF7 gene is expressed in Sertoli cells but not in germ cells, and its absence is associated with spermatogenic arrest at the spermatocyte stage, potentially leading to oligospermia or azoospermia.
The encoded proteins contain plant homeodomain (PHD) finger domains, also known as leukemia-associated protein (LAP) domains, which are involved in transcriptional regulation. PHF7 localizes to the nucleus and is implicated in the transcriptional regulation of spermatogenesis. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
