Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Mouse or Rat.
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Neurotrophic factors regulate the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in both peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as other neural crest-derived cell types. Developing sympathetic neurons depend on nerve growth factor (NGF) during target competition in vivo. Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable tools for detecting and characterizing NGFR p75, contributing to research on neuronal development, plasticity, and repair.
