ErbB 4 (Her-4, c-erbB-4, v-erbB-4)은 class I receptor kinase family에 속하는 단백질로, 500개 이상의 유전자 산물을 포함하는 단백질 키나아제 계열 중 하나입니다.
이 단백질은 neuregulins 및 NTAK에 의해 활성화되며, heregulin 수용체로 작용하여 자가 인산화를 유도합니다.
ErbB 4는 세포 내 신호 전달을 매개하며, 대사, 전사, 세포 주기, 세포골격 재배열, 세포 이동, 세포사멸 및 분화에 관여합니다.
주로 유방암 세포주 및 정상 근육, 심장, 뇌하수체, 뇌, 소뇌에서 발현됩니다.
