Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Peripherin is a 57 kD type III intermediate filament, serving as a specific marker for peripheral neurons including enteric ganglion cells. It is expressed in the developing peripheral nervous system and enriched in neuronal derivatives of the neural crest.
Compared to other neural markers such as S100 and NSE, Peripherin does not stain chromaffin cell types.
