For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
YBX1 binds to splice sites in pre-mRNA and regulates splice site selection.
It stabilizes cytoplasmic mRNA and modulates translation by influencing interactions with eukaryotic initiation factors.
YBX1 binds to promoters containing a Y-box sequence (5'-CTGATTGGCCAA-3'), such as HLA class II genes, thereby regulating transcription.
It can promote DNA strand separation in mismatched or cisplatin-modified DNA and exhibits endonucleolytic activity that may contribute to DNA repair.
