• Reconstitution:
  Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
  Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
  Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
  For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the ephrin family. The ephrins and EPH-related receptors form the largest subfamily of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases and are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system and erythropoiesis.
Ephrins are divided into two classes:

• Ephrin-A class: anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage
• Ephrin-B class: transmembrane proteins

The Ephrin-A1 (EFNA1) protein binds to EPHA2, EPHA4, EPHA5, EPHA6, and EPHA7 receptors. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
