Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

EPHA2 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family.
These receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system.
EPHA2 is overexpressed in many human cancers and plays a role in cell-cell interaction regulation, including differentiation, adhesion, motility, and apoptosis.
There are approximately 90 tyrosine kinase genes identified — 58 receptor-type (e.g., EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, VEGFR families) and 32 cytosolic-type (e.g., ABL, FAK, JAK, SRC families).
