For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD68 (Macrosialin) is a 110 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein predominantly expressed on intracellular lysosomes of monocytes and macrophages, and to a lesser extent on dendritic cells and granulocytes.
It plays a role in phagocytic activities of tissue macrophages, both in intracellular lysosomal metabolism and extracellular interactions.
CD68 expression is observed in interdigitating reticulum cells in tonsil, histiocytic lymphoma, histiocytosis, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and granulocytic sarcoma.
Elevated CD68 expression has been reported in CD34+ cells from various human malignancies, including AML studies.
