Hippostasin (KLK11)는 칼리크레인 유사 세린 프로테아제로, 뇌형과 전립선형 두 가지 스플라이싱 이소폼을 가집니다. KLK11은 전립선에서 생식 및 종양 관련 기능을 가지며, 난소암 여성의 70%, 전립선암 남성의 60%에서 혈청 내 KLK11 수치가 상승된 것으로 보고되었습니다. KLK11의 혈청 분석은 난소암 및 전립선암의 진단 및 모니터링에 도움을 줄 수 있습니다.
