Target Information
PACSIN2 is a 486 amino acid phosphoprotein and a member of the PACSIN family of cytoplasmic adapter proteins. It contains a CDC15 N-terminal domain, a C-terminal SH3 domain, three conserved PACSIN-specific regions, and three NPF motifs that may bind EH domains. PACSIN2 is ubiquitously expressed, with the highest levels in the brain, and is involved in actin cytoskeleton organization, vesicular trafficking, endocytic internalization, and receptor recycling.
