Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Plexin A1, Plexin A2, recombinant human Plexin A4, Plexin B1, Plexin B3, Plexin C1, and Plexin D1 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Plexin-B2 is a member of the Semaphorin receptor family. The semaphorin family consists of membrane and secreted proteins involved in neuronal guidance cues such as attraction and repulsion. Plexin-B1 is a transmembrane protein that can be cleaved into a heterodimeric receptor. It binds Sema4D/CD100 and is involved in axon development in mouse embryos. Sema4D also interacts with CD72 in the immune system. The potential role of Plexin-B2 in the immune system has not been characterized.
