Anti-Histone H4 [ac Lys5] 항체는 Human Histone H4와 반응하며, BLAST 분석 결과 Human, Mouse, Rat과 교차 반응이 예측됩니다. 대부분의 포유류 종과 반응할 것으로 예측되며, 다른 종의 Histone H4와의 교차 반응은 확인되지 않았습니다.
Target Information
Histones는 진핵세포 염색질 섬유의 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성하는 기본 핵단백질입니다. H2A, H2B, H3, H4의 각 두 분자가 옥타머를 형성하고, 약 146 bp의 DNA가 이를 감싸 뉴클레오솜을 구성합니다. Linker histone H1은 뉴클레오솜 사이의 DNA와 상호작용하여 염색질의 고차 구조 압축에 관여합니다.
Histone H4 유전자는 인트론이 없으며 polyA tail 대신 팔린드롬 종결 요소를 포함합니다. 이 유전자는 염색체 6의 대형 히스톤 유전자 클러스터 내에 위치합니다.
