Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
PHIP (pleckstrin homology domain interacting protein), also known as ndrp or WDR11, is a 1,821 amino acid protein containing eight N-terminal WD40 repeats and two bromodomains. It is expressed in skeletal muscle (cytosol and nucleus) and primary beta cells (nucleus), functioning as a transcriptional activator. PHIP interacts with members of the insulin receptor substrate (IRS) family, which mediate insulin receptor signaling and are critical for beta cell proliferation and survival. PHIP associates with the PH domain of IRS-1, linking IRS-1 to insulin receptors and playing a vital role in insulin signaling regulation.
