For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Gli-2 belongs to the C2H2-type zinc finger protein subclass of the Gli family. These transcription factors bind DNA through conserved H-C zinc finger motifs and mediate Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling. Gli family proteins are implicated as oncogenes in embryonal carcinoma cells.
The GLI2 protein localizes to the cytoplasm and activates patched Drosophila homolog (PTCH) gene expression. It also plays roles in embryogenesis and is associated with several phenotypes, including:

• Greig cephalopolysyndactyly syndrome
• Pallister-Hall syndrome
• Preaxial polydactyly type IV
• Postaxial polydactyly types A1 and B
