Target Information

ADAMTS-1 is a member of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) family.
These proteins share modules such as a propeptide region, metalloproteinase domain, disintegrin-like domain, and thrombospondin type 1 (TS) motif.
ADAMTS-1 has two disintegrin loops and three C-terminal TS motifs and exhibits anti-angiogenic activity.
Its expression may be associated with inflammatory processes and cancer cachexia, and it is likely essential for normal growth, fertility, and organ morphology and function.
