MA1-33801 detects CD1a from Cynomolgus monkey samples.
This antibody has been successfully used in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue) applications.
Use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 µL.
The immunogen is human thymocytes.

Target Information

CD1a is a non-polymorphic MHC Class I-related cell surface glycoprotein expressed in association with beta-2 microglobulin.
It is found on cortical thymocytes, Langerhans cells, and interdigitating cells, as well as certain T-cell malignancies and histiocytosis X.
CD1a mediates the presentation of lipid and glycolipid antigens to T cells.
The human genome contains five CD1 family genes (CD1a, b, c, d, e) organized on chromosome 1.
CD1a localizes to the plasma membrane and early endocytic vesicles.
Alternative splicing variants exist, but their biological validity is undetermined.
