For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Thymidylate Synthase (TS) converts deoxyuridine monophosphate (dUMP) to deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP), essential for DNA biosynthesis.
TS is a key target for fluoropyrimidine antineoplastic drugs such as 5-FU and fluorodeoxyuridine. These compounds are converted to FdUMP, which inactivates TS by forming a ternary covalent complex with 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate.
TS expression correlates with response to 5-FU in human colorectal, gastric, head and neck, and breast carcinomas.
