Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD137 (also known as TNFRSF9 or 4-1BB) is an inducible costimulatory molecule primarily expressed on activated T cells.
Its ligand, 4-1BBL, is found on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells.
CD137 signaling supports the survival and expansion of activated and memory CD8+ T cells, while modulating myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development.
Activation of CD137 induces cytokine release that regulates peripheral monocyte survival.
Soluble forms of CD137 may act as negative regulators in immune responses.
