HLA-DRA는 HLA class II alpha chain 패럴로그 중 하나로, alpha와 beta 체인이 막에 고정된 이합체 형태를 이루는 분자입니다. 이 분자는 세포 외 단백질에서 유래된 펩타이드를 제시함으로써 면역 시스템에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Class II 분자는 항원 제시 세포(APC: B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages)에 발현되며, alpha chain은 약 33–35 kDa 크기이며 5개의 엑손을 포함합니다.
DRA는 펩타이드 결합 부위에 다형성이 없으며, DRB1, DRB3, DRB4, DRB5의 유일한 alpha chain으로 작용합니다.
HLA 및 MHC 항체는 면역펩타이드오믹스(Immunopeptidomics) 연구에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 고성능 액체 크로마토그래피-탠덤 질량분석(HPLC-MS/MS)을 통해 신항원(neoantigen)의 식별 및 특성 분석에 기여합니다.
