Kit includes 100 µg of lyophilized recombinant Human CK-MB protein and 1 bottle of diluting buffer (1 mL).

Storage:

• Diluent should be stored at 4°C.
• Lyophilized protein should be stored at 4°C short-term, and for long-term at -20°C.

Reconstitution:
Reconstitute 100 µg of Recombinant Human CK-MB, Calibrator Grade with 1 mL of CK-MB Diluent. Mix gently and allow to stand for at least 15 minutes prior to use. After use, replace stopper and store at 2–8°C for up to 3 weeks of reconstituted stability.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis. It reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphagens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in brain and other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar muscle isozyme in heart. The encoded protein belongs to the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase family. A pseudogene of this gene has been characterized.
