Target Information

KIT (c-KIT)은 MGF(mast cell growth factor, stem cell factor) 수용체로 작용하는 type 3 transmembrane receptor이며, proto-oncogene으로 알려져 있습니다. KIT은 다양한 조혈 및 비조혈 세포의 성장과 활성화를 조절하며, 변이는 위장관 기질 종양(GIST), 비만세포 질환, 급성 골수성 백혈병, piebaldism 등과 관련이 있습니다.
SCF와 결합 시 c-KIT은 이합체화되어 자가 인산화가 일어나며, Grb2 결합 및 Ras/ERK, PI3K, PLC-γ, JAK/STAT 등의 신호경로를 활성화합니다.
KIT 수용체 활성은 조혈, 줄기세포 유지, 생식세포 형성에 필수적입니다.
