Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Ribosomes are organelles that catalyze protein synthesis and consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. These subunits contain 4 RNA species and approximately 80 distinct proteins. The RPL37A gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is part of the 60S subunit and belongs to the L37AE family. It is localized in the cytoplasm and contains a C4-type zinc finger-like domain. Multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene are dispersed throughout the genome.
