- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human CEACAM-1, -3, or -5 is observed.

Target Information
CEA Cell Adhesion Molecule 6 (CEACAM6) belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family, which consists of GPI-anchored cell surface glycoproteins.
Members of this family play a role in cell adhesion and are commonly used as tumor markers in serum immunoassays for carcinoma detection.
CEACAM6 influences tumor cell sensitivity to adenovirus infection and acts as a receptor for adherent-invasive E. coli adhesion to ileal epithelial cells in Crohn’s disease patients.
