Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) FAM3A, rhFAM3B, recombinant mouse (rm) FAM3C, or rmFAM3D is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
FAM3C is a 227 amino acid secretory protein belonging to the FAM3 cytokine-like family. It contains a GG domain, hydrophobic leader sequence, and N-terminal signal peptide. FAM3C is involved in cytokine signaling and shows altered expression in pancreatic cancer-derived cells. It is ubiquitously expressed in most tissues and plays a role in inner ear development, possibly influencing cell differentiation and proliferation during embryogenesis.
