Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

The NPPB gene encodes a secreted cardiac hormone belonging to the natriuretic peptide family. It undergoes two cleavage events—one intracellularly and one after secretion into the bloodstream.
Its biological actions include:
- Natriuresis
- Diuresis
- Vasorelaxation
- Inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion
- Regulation of cardiovascular homeostasis
Elevated levels of this protein in the bloodstream are indicative of heart failure. Mutations in this gene have been linked to postmenopausal osteoporosis.
