Target Information
Fis1은 17 kDa의 막관통 단백질로, 미토콘드리아 분열 기전의 구성 요소입니다. 중심 leucine-zipper 도메인, coiled-coil 영역, tetratricopeptide 반복 도메인 및 C-말단 막관통 도메인을 포함합니다. 인간 Fis1은 효모 Fis1p의 상동체로서 외부 미토콘드리아 막에 위치하며, DLP1 및 Mdv1p와 상호작용하여 Dnm1p의 결합을 촉진하고 세포자멸(apoptosis)을 유도합니다. 또한 퍼옥시솜의 성장과 분열에도 관여하며, Fis1 결손 시 미토콘드리아가 신장되고 apoptosis가 억제됩니다.
