Target Information
FBXO32 유전자는 약 40개의 아미노산으로 구성된 F-box 모티프를 포함하는 F-box 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 단백질들은 SCF 복합체의 구성 요소로서 인산화 의존적 유비퀴틴화 과정에 관여합니다.
F-box 단백질은 WD-40 도메인을 가진 Fbws, leucine-rich 반복을 가진 Fbls, 그리고 다양한 단백질 상호작용 모듈을 포함하거나 인식 가능한 모티프가 없는 Fbxs로 분류됩니다.
FBXO32 단백질은 Fbxs 클래스에 속하며 F-box 도메인을 포함합니다. 근육 위축 시기에 높은 발현을 보이며, 이 유전자가 결핍된 마우스는 위축에 저항성을 보입니다. 따라서 근육 위축 치료를 위한 잠재적 약물 표적으로 연구되고 있습니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 크기의 이소폼을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변이를 생성합니다.
